ON-8600 Series is part of the ONtel's Multiservices Optical Platform Series which are compact fiber solutions that provide TDM services as E1,V35 and Ethernet services through the STM1 optical linnks with cross connect functionlity, allowing the user tomap channels with more flexibility. It also allows mappingV.35 into E1 and E1 to E1 9x9 mapping with remote side. By adding the ON-8600 Series to the current legacy networks, new features will be added plus a migration towards the IP networks. The ON-8600 series can be installed on the network as a Terminal Multiplexers that combines TDM & Ethernet service over SDH and with a L2 switch using STM1 links up to 155,520 bps.
The Ontel ON-8600 can support up to 8xE1,4xV.3 5, and 4x10/100 Mbps Ethernet interfaces (by different model) with 2 hot-swappable trunk interfaces at STM-1 rate. ON-8600 series is able to replace any fiber Optical Multiplex (FOM) in the market to provide more tributary interface and higher bandwidth. Its versatile and friendly management interfaces (menu-driven console / Web-base GUI / NMS/ LCD) provide the customers more options and reduce the deployment time.
ON-8600 series is an ideal solution to deploy new revenue and reduce cost to generate multiple services in rarer areas up to high density business areas, representing either a CPE for single customer or a multi-tenant unit.
