Watson Ethernet (LTU Card)

PRODUCT DETAIL

High throughput, high flexibility and advanced functionality make the Watson Ethernet plug-in modem the right choice for demanding Ethernet applications. With the advanced DSL line code G.SHDSL.bis the Watson Ethernet modems deliver symmetrical data rates of up to 5.7Mbit/s per copper pair. Built-in pair bonding gives aggregate service rates of 22.8 MBit/s per customer. The modems have built-in VLAN and Class of Service functions for traffic management and differentiated services.

The Watson Ethernet plug-in card is designed for rack-based installations. The plug-in has the same form factor as Schmid’s other Watson modems and fits into the same subracks. Watson Ethernet plug-ins can share subracks with other Watson modems for immediate rollout of Ethernet services from already existing points of presence currently used for E1 services only. A tabletop housing is available to install the plug-in at customer premises. Management of the Watson Ethernet plug-in is fully SNMP compatible and uses standardized Management Information Bases (MIBs).

Performance, flexibility and reliability make the Watson Ethernet plug-in modem an important part of your transition from a legacy TDM-based to a next generation packet-based network. All backed by Swiss quality and by worldwide service and support.
