OPCOM600 -OTU2E is Raisecom 10G wavelength converter/repeater which is used to convert normal wavelength to CWDM/DWDM specific wavelength as well as performs any kind of conversion between any two kinds of fiber optic cables. The 6U dimension design enables OPCOM600-OTU2E to convert one channel over one board. By cooperating with CWDM/DWDM system, it presents carriers with a way to selectively increase the utilization of existing fiber lines to accommodate today’s LAN and SAN applications in the MAN.
The card also supports standard OTN interface and used to the mapping from 10G Ethernet or 10G sync optical network services to OTN ,OTU2 services.OPCOM600-OTU2E provides 3R (reshaping, reamplifying, retiming)for the standard services speed in STM64/OC-192, 10G-WAN/10GE-LAN, FC-10G;both of the client-side and line-side of OPCOMOTU2E support GFEC and FEC, the line side still supports EFEC.

	LC/PC optical interface.
	Transmission distance Up to 80km
	Reshaping, reamplifying and retiming function for signal. 3R function is realized by automation.
	Automatic Laser Shutdown function will have the optical transmission shut down if optical receiving signals cannot be detected. All ports support ALS.
	Support Enhanced FEC and comply with General FEC of ITU-T G.709.
	In-band Management OTU2/OTU2e in-band network management channel.
	Fault pass through function at directions of client-line and line-client.
	All the client/line optical interfaces have standby function.
	Manageable when installed in Raisecom ITN2100-12,OPCOM3500E-12 chassis network management agent through Raisecom GUI.
