Watson Ethernet (Tabletop Modem)

PRODUCT DETAIL

High throughput, high flexibility and advanced functionality make the Watson Ethernet tabletop modems the right choice for demanding Ethernet applications. With the advanced DSL line code G.SHDSL.bis the Watson Ethernet modems deliver symmetrical data rates of up to 5.7Mbit/s per  copper pair. Built-in pair bonding gives aggregate service rates of 11.4 MBit/s per customer. The modems have built-in VLAN and Class of Service functions for traffic management and differentiated services.
The Watson Ethernet tabletop modems can be used together with Watson TDM modems. This allows carriers to provide native Ethernet services from points of presence which have only E1 or serial interfaces equipped. The Watson Ethernet tabletop modems convert Ethernet to a TDM-based protocol that can be directly transported over SDH or Frame Relay networks and that is compatible with the WAN interface protocols used on industry-standard routers.
The modems are remotely manageable from the Watson Ethernet plug-in. The Watson Ethernet tabletop modems are designed for installation at the customer premises. Powering is normally from a local AC power source. Alternatively the modems can be remotely powered from a Watson TDM plug-in. Performance, flexibility and reliability make Watson Ethernet an important part of your transition to a next generation network. All backed by Swiss quality and by worldwide service and support.
